This policy explains the cookies WealthCalcApp uses and how you control them. A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser.

Consent first

We do not load advertising cookies or the Google AdSense script until you click “Accept” on the consent banner. If you reject, only strictly necessary cookies are used and no ads are served. You can revisit your decision anytime using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Types of cookies we use

• Strictly necessary: remember your theme (light/dark) and your cookie choice. They do not track you and are always on.
• Advertising (Google AdSense): loaded only after consent, used to show and measure ads and, where allowed, personalize them.
• Local storage: if you use the optional Portfolio Tracker, your session is kept so you stay signed in.

Managing cookies

Beyond our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. You can also opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings or the NAI opt-out page. Blocking necessary cookies may affect basic features like the dark-mode toggle.
